BIO
Travis John is a young multi-media artist working in sound, poetry, improvisation, hip hop, painting and video. He was born in Greenwich, London and is based in Oshawa, Ontario Canada. Through his multi-disciplinary practice he tries to create a bridge between past, present and cultures as well as attempting to capture the atmospheres within and around him to show an entire genuine reality through it's beauties and uglies. It is also used as a way to relay thoughts and experiences on certain topics in an abstract manner. He has made 7 records to date. He is also in the underground experimental duo To Cross The Meadow Yugen and has worked with musicians such as Matt Weston, Devyn Smith and Neal Davis
